The compact ST-U tillage unit is used for tilling the soil mainly after ploughing. It works very well in demanding conditions, when the field has compact and lumpy soil, which requires precise tillage and leaving an even surface of the field. It is most often recommended for plants that require precise soil tillage, such as: sugar beet, rapeseed, corn, vegetables and other crops. It owes its very good working parameters to its large mass and a wide range of tillage tools. The design of the tillage transport system during operation is based on flat or tubular rollers. It is equipped with spring tines and rollers that are optimal for its tasks, which guarantees a positive effect of tillage. The spring tines are designed to loosen the soil. The roller's task is to compact and level the soil layer, improve the structure of the seed layer and crumble clods of earth. The harrows with which the system is equipped level the soil layer. The tillage unit is equipped with 8 flat or tubular rollers and crosskill rollers, which ensures proper preparation of even the most demanding soil. The working depth is regulated by changing the position of the coulters. The tillage transport system has its own chassis, folded hydraulically for transport, thanks to which its width does not exceed 3 m and it can move on public roads. The machine has a frame construction and is mounted on a lower eyelet or ball hitch.
